What have we learned about the Titanic incident and its complete story in the past 100 years?

Why was the maiden voyage delayed for 3 weeks from March 20 until April 10?  What happened?  Who was responsible?

What are the myths, controversies, "coincidences" that plague this story?

Come to hear about all this and more as we remember this historic disaster on its centennial.

Presentation by Greg Isola, independent researcher, of NE Mpls. Email titanic@finn.st

Hosted by the Northeast Library and the Friends of the Northeast Library.

Over the past 15+ years, Greg has done extensive research on the Titanic story, particularly from the perspective of the Finnish passengers.  A centennial commemoration of those Finnish Titanic passengers -- emphasizing those connected to Cokato MN -- will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the Dassel History Center in Dassel MN > TitanicCokato2012 event.
